Feral Cat Warriors

We are a group of advocates for feral cats within the Kingman area. We want to educate and help assist the public who are feeding/caring for feral cats -- to get them spayed/neutered through T-N-R = Trap - Neuter - RETURN practices.

Our Mission

Feral cat Warriors is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care and finding homes for the unwanted, homeless, and neglected cats and kittens throughout Mohave County, Arizona. Since our start in 2019, we have grown from a small group of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) advocates into a no-kill foster based cat rescue.

How We Help Community Cats

Please read the following to discover our mission and goal.

We wanted to take a minute to talk about our mission. We are a 501C3 non-profit that started with just TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). We quickly learned that we needed to expand into a no-kill rescue program in our community. We try to foster any kittens found during TNR and domesticate them if possible and get the adopted. We also work hand in hand with our local shelter with the cases that need a little more TLC or momma with litters.

How the process works:

The Feral Cat Warriors help the public trap cats from colonies where people are already feeding and taking care of them.

We then ask for a donation to help get them spayed/neutered. ($45 per cat)

After their surgery, the cats are returned to the same property from where they were trapped, along with a signed agreement from the property owner, who will continue to feed the colony.

We are not a county entity. There may be the occasion we can help place a cat with a rescue or help. We consist only of volunteers who give of our own time, our gas money, our own homes and hearts.

Feral Cat Warriors also cannot trap cats that are on someone else’s land without their consent. So, if you have a neighbor who has fifty cats, we can’t come remove them. We have to have their written permission to trap/neuter/return on their property. Any time we deal with trapping on a property, we have to have the property owner’s consent. In Arizona, cats are free roaming and have the right to be free.

We do NOT re-locate feral cats. As it is very hard to find homes for them. There is an occasion we can get shop/barn homes for some but at this time is not something we are really able to offer. Our goal is to help people with getting the feral cats near them spayed/neutered. There is such a large feral cat problem in Kingman, and we do not have the resources to take cats from one place and put them in another. If you are in the situation where you find you need to remove cats, our best suggestion is to go buy a trap from Tractor Supply and surrender the cat to the Mohave County Animal Shelter. Neither the shelter, or Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic rent out traps for cat removal.

If you agree to the above terms, let’s talk! Please message our page to see how we can help.

Thanks for supporting us – but most of all – thanks for supporting the cats! As a community, we can make a difference!
