The Friends of the Mohave County Library - Kingman was formed in 1991 as a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Kingman Library in making information, books, music, and programs available to the public. This group is to keep the Kingman community informed on the Friends of the Library activities

Since 1991, hundreds of Friends members, volunteers, and donors have provided more than tens of thousands of dollars in funding, materials, and enhancements to Kingman Library.
